then clone repo in system with
git clone https://github.com/silversurfer98/pop-fresh-install.git/


then copy and add files to that folder

then

git status


# to add all files in that folder or use specific file names
git add *


git commit

then add message in that file

then 

git push

authenticate the user

then use 

git commit -a 


to commit all changes and use

git push 

again to push all changes
