I found out a way to reproduce a bug that crashes Programmer's Notepad, thus enabling a guaranteed loss of potentially unsaved data. In the Search dialogue box, if the string ['' is searched for while regular expressions are enabled, PN crashes. All data is then lost.

I have lost my progress twice thanks to this bug, but now that I know how to reproduce it, I can avoid it for now until it is fixed.
