When only use nunchuck, wiimote still gets sleep mode

Basically if you don't use the wiimote and only use the nunchuck, wiimote gets sleep mode. Why I use only the nunchuck? for example, need to use it along with another peripheral for a racing game. Like, nunchuck stick for accelerate & brake + mouse for steering.

I hope there's a switch button to enable or disable sleep mode for someone who needs the wiimote always active OR nunchuck or any other controller can reactivate wiimote by touching one of the buttons.

Or, if theres a hidden option that I didn't noticed to turn off sleep mode, I need to know.

Is it appearing that this project is abandoned. Sorry, but it looks like no one will answer.
For me my answer is, there is none. I'm working on my own issues, so I'm just going to fork this repository, and check out the code.
