Request: Flipkart #3190
Comments
@surendratr Do you have links to the logos you would propose to use? |
Thanks for the request, @surendratr. As you didn't mention it in the body of your issue, I've removed BigBasket Bands from the title. If you would also like to request that, though, then please create a new issue for it. On Flipkart: Their branding isn't entirely clear but from this page, it looks like the "shopping bag" is supposed to be their primary icon, if anyone can find a vector version of that. That page suggests the primary colour should be Alexa rank: ~165 |
I suggest we use the logo from wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flipkart#/media/File:Flipkart_logo.svg Although the color you've suggested seems to be the main color I think |
Oop, sorry, @NovaGL: should have mentioned that I had come across that but dismissed it due to its poor quality (the "threading" of the handle and the missing holes for the handle, for example). Based on the source, it seems to be an original work. Digging through their source code I did come across this simplified and monochrome version which we could use. I'll definitely defer the choice of colour to someone more familiar with the brand as I'd never heard of it before this morning; my choice of the blue is based on first impressions from their website and app. Going through the page I linked above in more detail, it looks like they have rebranded since that rebrand so we shouldn't put too much stock the logo treatment and choices of colour found there. |
Looks good to me, @adamrusted 👍🏻 Although, they now use this one in the HTML if you want to double check for changes - it's used as a placeholder before product images are loaded in. My vote still goes to the blue for the brand colour, though. |
@PeterShaggyNoble - I've just rebuilt it from the new source, though it looks pretty much the same. Do you want me to submit a PR for it? |
Fire away, @adamrusted. |
