Adding colors to the verbose option would be nice, not so much to make it prettier, but to make it easier for users to use that option effectively:

  • When commands have big outputs, it can be hard to know when the previous/next command starts/ends. Having a visual indicator helps when scrolling up/down.
  • Highlighting errors ensures users notice those as they can indicate bugs.
  • Dimming the timestamps ensures more important parts of the logs are more noticeable.

It would be disabled when there is no color support.
