nimline uses a very different approach compared to https://github.com/genotrance/nimterop (/cc @genotrance), although with similar end goals.
Would be nice to have a rich comparison of the 2 approaches, with pros / cons / when to use one vs the other, etc

note

leaving c2nim out of this discussion ; can be discussed in a separate thread if needed
