I noticed a strange behaviour of my rpi B+ with some usb mice. 3 different models have been tested.

  1. The system doesn't start Rio(halting at Plan 9 Console window) with wired A4Tech X6-60MD mouse being connected. No error messages is displayed in that case.
  2. Rio is started succesfully, but wired Sven RX-112 mouse doesn't work at all.
  3. Everything more or less works with noname chinese bluetooth mouse.

Thank you for reporting this. I'm looking into it. The USB driver is having problems for a number of people. It seems to impact the newer generations more than the first generation of raspberry pi.

I also experience the same issue with my mouse not working. However, this also extends to my keyboard. The error code displayed only appears for the keyboard, the mouse triggers no visible errors. On plan9 which I tried previously (not 9front), the mouse displayed a very similar error to that which you see for the keyboard now.
