.deb package not working

When trying to install from the .deb dpkg fails with this error

  parsing file '/var/lib/dpkg/tmp.ci/control' near line 2 package 'reader':
  error in Version string '${reader.version}': version number does not start with digit

I have pushed a fix 30 minutes ago to fix that, thank you :)

The issue still exists tough (I tried the .deb package today). Is it possible that the packaged versions that are distributed on sourceforge have not been updated?

This is right, the fix will be released with the next version (1.2) which should come soon.
