Git unavailable

I've been using git for a long time and I came across your plugin for Brackets in the plugin manager and on github, but it didn't work for me. It simply has the icon of github with a tooltip saying Git unavailable. I tried switching branches back and forth and restarting brackets with no change. This machine is Windows 7 and git is installed.

But i need to know one thing :)
Did your system path includes git/bin folder ?
