No License File? #16
Comments
Assuming License as MIT |
You can't just assume whatever license you want for code you find online. This isn't how licensing works. The original author(s) need to explicitly state what they release their contributions under. I agree it would be great to see this licensed under the MIT terms, but you can't just declare that yourself and move on. |
@alerque Yeah, yes. you are right. Me assuming the license should be MIT was wrong. I do not know why I did that. Rohan from 2 years in the future totally agrees with you. Here, is my repo. I did some code refactoring and made it work for paragraphs - https://github.com/CT83/handwriting-synthesis I wish the original authors added a License. |
I would like to use this code for a Project. Could you please create a LICENSE.md file, stating the type of license you are using?
馃挕 Tip:
MIT License would be great for this project.
