It seems the problem cause is interaction between wxwidgets and current gtk theme. Try changing theme and let us know the results.

Screenshot above - from "Greybird".

Just tried "Blackbird", "Adwaita" & "Numix" — results are the same.

  • System Info: (same as in header comment)

Seems like "not all" dropdown buttons cutted; some looks as expected. Additionally some UI items/elements stretched vertically.

sK1 from master has been tested against Greybird, Adwaita, Ambiance and Yaru on Ubuntu/Xubuntu. All the themes looks as expected. It seems the problem cause is in MX Linux theme engine.

@sk1project, which version of Ubuntu/Xbuntu you tested on? Also could you show your "Components" tab and general sK1 window screenshots?

The subj is a pure MX Linux issue. Looks like distro specific gtk3 theme engine modification:
