Hello. I'm very sorry to tell you some unfortunate news. I will not be able to keep my promise to support 4K before 6.0 which I previously announced. It's been about two months since I started working on it.
I am currently producing the BLACK Theme, and it has progressed by about 60%. At this rate, it seems that only the black themes can be completed before 6.0 patch. The reason for this is my lack of time. I work on this for 1 hour after get off work on weekdays and 8 hours on weekends. When I first worked on the material ui, I worked for 8 hours every day for 2 months and I thought I could make it quickly because it didn't start at zero this time, but it was an illusion. I'd like to apologize to all of you who are waiting for the discord theme.
I'm hesitantly announcing the upcoming roadmap for updates.
SCHEDULE
Within October: Publish BLACK theme Beta version and making OPTIONS
~11/07: Publish BLACK theme fully 4K support complete version
About the DISCORD version
I will stop support for the time being. Once again, I apologize to those who use discord version. According to SE's schedule, the release of 6.0 is soon after the distribution of BLACK, so I will prioritize BLACK for the time being. Regarding the discord version, it is difficult to calculate the exact schedule.
Directions for support after 6.0
The 4K and HD images are exactly 2x different, so they can be downscaled. Doing so will require fine tuning and I cannot handle the workload. There is no guarantees that problems will not occur when the downscale is completed and I am worried about that. If additional work is required every time other than downscale, it will result in the roadmap being delayed further. Once the work on discord ui's 4K support is completed, I will consider the HD versions but it's too far in the future and it's not definitive.
Once BLACK stabilizes after its full release, DISCORD's 4K work will be started.
