Sometimes you want to read documentation when you don't have an internet connection, or maybe you want to be able to search it without every nosy packet snooper in the planet seeing how much of a noob you are. Now you can do either of those things.

Place the nim.zim (try to avoid tongue twister issues) in your Zim reader of choice. Kiwix is the most notable of these.

A docset for Zeal or Dash is something to think about, but also consider:

  • Zeal's full-text search is much slower than Kiwix and,
  • You can host Kiwix on your local intranet if that's your thing.
