Log messages on Stdout go to kernel log #2496

def log(message):

All the fixes are displayed on the console and the kernel log.

kernel console is synchronous so each fix triggers a write to disk. (doesn't scale)
logging this information (although its discarded due to rotation) is highly sensitive in a gdpr style of fashion.

Could we:

Disable the log other than for errors?
