Thank you for your work!

I'd like to use the library, but my employer does not allow it, as it is under GPL (our code would be "infected")

I can create a PR if you decide to do so

I discussed this with @hjkgfdgf and we wouldn't mind a license change to Apache 2. Please also update the file headers if you create a PR.
