When editing a Manufacturer or product in a multi-store setup (based on URL (domain names)) and you edit a manufacturer/product that is limited to a single store that is running on a URL that is different to the one that you are logged into the Admin section on.
If you try and preview the manufacturer/product you get a 404 page error.
This is "right" as the manufacturer/product that is being previewed does not exist in the backend URL that you are logged into, but can be confusing or seen as a problem.
Suggested changes are:
Hide the preview button if the manufacture/product is limited to a store that is different to the one that you are logged in on.
When generating the preview button, make sure that if the manufacturer/product is limited to a store that a valid URL is generated.
When loading the preview (when the admin clicks the preview button), if there is a "page not found error", check the product to see which stores it it limited to and load a page that works.
I think that option 2 is the best solution.
