If on the Search page, and clicking on "Topics" and typing a search, results out of view

- What is the current behavior?
I'm in the search page, eg: https://www.smashingmagazine.com/search/?q=ux. Then I clicked Topics again and started typing, but I could not see the results since they were pushed down.

You may ask why I clicked on Topics if I was already on the Search page. Well it happened naturally, from being used to clicking on Topics to search for information wherever else in the website, which then I did even if I already was on the search page.

I think maybe showing the button Topics while already being in the Search page doesn't make much sense.

- If the current behavior is a bug, please provide the steps to reproduce.

1. Go to https://www.smashingmagazine.com/search/?q=ux
2. Click on Topics
3. Start typing on the search input
4. Results are below the fold
