has anyone looked at or know if it is impossible to connect brid.gy to pelican ?

interesting! looks totally doable. since pelican is a static site generator, you should probably look at http://webmention.herokuapp.com/ or https://github.com/bcomnes/webmention.js first.

otherwise, if you're using disqus and want bridgy comments to go in there, it'd be possible to add disqus support to bridgy directly. we already support disqus for tumblr blogs, so much of the hard work is already done. i'd happily accept pull requests!

also cc'ing @kylewm since it looks like he's done some work on pelican before.

tentatively closing since the work to be done here is in pelican or individual sites, not bridgy. feel free to reopen if you disagree!
