Dockerfile for Linux Agent #1

We came across that project and tried to install it. Thanks for the documentation, worked perfect.

However we also decided to create a Dockerfile during our installation procedure to ensure that we can easily build up and use that agent in any environment later on. We also added and simulator for modbus to show the capabilities of the agent.

The demo was recently pushed here:

As we have seen in many Customer appointments most of the gateways support Docker nowadays. Deploying via docker is much easier so maybe it is a good idea to also provide the Dockerfile within your project?

You could also add the link to the cumulocity documentation to your readme file since it helped us a lot installing the agent.

I would suggest three things:

  1. @mbay-ODW: Create a PR for the Dockerfile + Documentation you've created for this repo
  2. @mbay-ODW: Make sure you reference this repo in your Demo / Example Repo
  3. @rina23q: We could and maybe should add also add a references to this repo "Examples using this agent"
