I have solved this issue. I am new to SolidInvoice and I am testing out the app. Apparently in my initial setup and testing, the user in question was stuck in the database. I manually cleared the user from the database and it worked as expected after that.

A new user is automatically accepted and does not have the ability to set up a password.
