With the old 0.60d I got not heavy load on my hdd (yes I use real hdds). I use Buffer ~7MB (set manually in the preferences.ini) and download 10-15 files at the same time with 2-4MB/s, it syncs in "one shot" every few seconds, when the buffer is full, gui response is not slowed down, even I got some thousands files in download list.

With the 0.70a I got heavy random disk acces even at slow downloads rates: 2-5 downloads, each around a few kb/s: 2-20kb/s
This blocks the whole emule down. GUI response is slow, exiting/starting and saving/loading part.mets, known.met,... is MUCH slower than in the old version, even when I reduce the amout of downloads in the Temp down to a third from above, it still is much slower.

The new I/O Completion Ports really sucks. Roll it back to the old IO that is used in 0.60d or fix it.

Same problem here. 0.70a hangs easily and frequently!
