Duplicate/persistent Spacer element

I used your plugin and it is amazing, Thank you
during Usage, I found one issue which is with resize and refresh

on window resize, I do update the top property but the spacer was behaving unexpected, after some testing, I found that the reset function does not remove the spacer entirely but create a new spacer element which should be fixed.

Is there a solution after a year?
