Hello,
the Debian Med team is maintaining biotools for official Debian. I once reported issue #6. Thanks for applying the Python3 fixes quickly in this issue. The recently released Debian 10 was the last Debian release featuring Python2 since this programming language is EOL. It would be helpful if you could add a release tag to the version that supports Python3. This would also help other people or distributions to find the official release that can be used with Python3
Kind regards, Andreas.
