We could implement some kind of update checking into poMMo. It could be a check-only with a warning or it could be an automatic update.

I think, this should be implemented before final beta... :-)

There maybe a jQuery-based solution (following this guide) for an update check. The download could be done via php - or there might be just an alert 'new version online - go for it!'
