Experiment if it's possibile to automate major version db upgrades using pg_upgrade.

Any idea about how this could be implemented?

some ideas was published by pglupgrade https://www.2ndquadrant.com/en/blog/tag/pglupgrade/
and use pgbouncer + pg_upgrade + pglogical

I tried to reproduce it, but unsuccessfull and @gulcin (https://github.com/gulcin) just ignored all my emails

Hi, I am sorry I was away on maternity leave and I don't work for 2ndQuadrant now. This work was done during my time there, and unfortunately I can't share details due to the contract I signed.
