Hi Victor, first of all I want to say thanks for this great addon! This might be an edge case but it would be great if GLTF export works, because it's such a popular file format for games.

I created a character in Character Creator 4 and imported it with this tool into Blender 3.5.0. I then try to export it with Blender's built in GLTF exporter with the default settings. It is able to export as GLTF if the shape keys are not exported, so the error might be related to this.

I discovered that characters imported with version 1.5.4 of cc_blender_tools are able to be exported as GLTF, but the latest version 2.0.7 cannot. Version 1.6.0.3 did not work either.

Here are my minimal repro steps:

  1. Open Character Creator 4 and click ""Load neutral base""
  2. Export by going to menu File > export >FBX > clothed character. Follow the official guide here to export for Blender here.
  3. Import this character in Blender using cc_blender_tools 2.0.7 with default settings
  4. Export this as GLTF by going to menu File > export > GLTF 2.0 in Blender. Use default GLTF settings
  5. Encounter an export error seen below

This is the blend file that was the result of these repro steps.

The GLTF exporter is never going to make sense of the custom materials.

You would be better off building the character with Basic materials. GLTF should pick up the textures correctly from that, though there are differences in the skin, hair and eyes from the simpler material setup. And you would probably need to delete the eye occlusion and tearline.
