Description of Issue

The game freezes partially, meaning the player is able to move but isn't able to interact with mobs and blocks causing 'rubberbanding'. The game runs 120 Mods, without Optifine, it is all fine, no lag, no 'rubberbanding'. However, playing with Optifine causes the above mentioned issue.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Start Minecraft with these mods.
  2. Start a new world.
  3. Create new chunks thoroughly by exploring while flying.
  4. Try to break blocks and interact with mobs.
  5. See server lag.

OptiFine Version

OptiFine_1.16.4_HD_U_G6_pre10

Installation Method

Installed Optifine with Forge ModLoader.

Fabric/Forge Version

    • Only OptiFine and Forge -> Yes, it happens even w/out any mods.
  • Does this happen without any mods at all?
    • Only Forge/Fabric by itself -> No, only with Optifine.
  • Does this happen in OptiFine standalone? -> Yes, It happens as well.
  • Does this happen in Vanilla without OptiFine? -> No, No issues with only vanilla.
  • Have you tried using a binary search to find which mods cause this issue? -> Yes, all mods work fine w/out Optifine.
    • Does the issue still happen with only the remaining mods installed?
      • Forge/Fabric and remaining mods, without OptiFine -> No, it happens only when Optifine is installed.

Additional Information

The server is an internal singleplayer server.

Wow, that's a lot of mods! I'd try a couple of things, firstly updating to the latest version of Optifine, pre12. Downloading the Minecraft installer and running the "repair" feature might also be worth a try just in case. Good luck!

I've tried the pre12 but it just crashes without any logs or reports. Then I've tried the pre11 as well and, no more are those tiny lagspikes, well for now.
