Move to sphinx-contrib organization? #23
Comments
+1. Looking through the OpenPRs, especially the one related to documenting the schema will be very useful for us. I will be happy to help in my spare time as well, if some help is needed. |
@stephenfin @gotpredictions Hey guys! I'm sorry I didn't respond so long to this and other PRs. Yes, basically I'd be happy to move this to the @gotpredictions any help is really appreciated. If you have some time, please contribute. :) I'm going to get back to this project and try to address existing issues/PRs. It looks like it's something people use and need, so it worth investing my time. |
@ikalnytskyi I've added you to the GitHub organization, meaning you can move the project to this organisation. GitHub has some good docs on the subject but as far as permissions go, the only people that will have access are the project admins (me, the Sphinx maintainers, and a couple of other well known Python/Sphinx contributors), you, and whoever you add to the project. In general, the admins won't touch projects unless given specific permission by the author (you) to do so. If you envision a situation where you're no longer able to maintain this project, I'd also ask that you add the Let me know if you have any questions 😄 |
@stephenfin thanks! I want to settle few things here first, and then I'll move it to the org. |
@stephenfin I finally transferred the project, but apparently I lost my admin permissions here. Is there any way to get them back? |
Yup, you should have them back now. I might ask that you rename the project |
This is more of a request than a issue. I've noticed there are a few open PRs languishing against this project, but it's definitely useful to more than a few people. What's the possibility of moving this project to the sphinx-contrib on GitHub? I think it would be a good fit and, with your blessing of course, it could be a helpful way to spread the load assuming you simply don't have time to work on this at the moment.
Feel free to reach out to me via email (listed on my profile) if this is something you'd be interested in. I'd be happy to walk you through the steps necessary to do the migration (steps I'm working to document in the main Sphinx docs as we speak).
