From a review by Mark, a month ago:

There is one issue for me though and that is the only time the browser actually changes it's color is if I minimize it and then restore it. I have my Windows settings set that the background changes every ten minutes or so but the browser colors do not change along with it.

I will take a look but it's similar to #6 and I don't think I can control it.

IMO, if the solution is too CPU intensive, make it optional behind a checkbox.
