I am a Programmer who has been working in the Medical (or Digital Healthcare) domain for a long time. I was started to programming through a smartphone in middle school, and I found my aptitude. I started my career as Intern Android Programmer at the age of 15. (In Korean Age is 17.)

I'm developing Black Angus[Main Bot, Lambda API], and lastfm-twitter-connector. Black Angus is Discord bot which made with Python. It's still beta stage, but It provides many features. lastfm-twitter-connector can share now playing musics or scrobbled musics to Twitter, or another platforms. This program does not necessarily support only Twitter, so I plan to develop to support various connector plugins in the future.

I was diagnosed with Recurrent Treatment-Resistant Depression and Chronic Migraine, and I am on treatment. New drugs has shown great response for me, and now my condition is very good. But New drugs are very expensive(Over than $2,000 in monthly), so I am experiencing financial difficulties.

Income through GitHub Sponsers is a huge help to continue to maintaining open source projects and make me stay socially active. I will use my earnings as the following priorities, and I promise to publish it regularly via Twitter. Also, if I have an income, I can allocate more time to working on open source projects.

1. You can support my Medical Expenses, it can make me stay in shape and be more socially active.
   • Basically, Medical Expenses are covered by my salary.
   • Before getting my job, I sold my exsisting devices(Computers, Smartphones, ...) and I got supported from various organizations(contains government).
   • Now I got my job, So I can't get support.
2. I will spend more times to contribute open source projects, or improving my open source projects.
   • Because I'm working, I plan to spend a lot of time on weekends and leisure time.
3. I will sponsor other open source projects.
   • If I have enough money, I can financially support projects I use a lot, or projects I feel important.
   • I will open my sponrsoship incomes, and sponsorship outcomes monthly to my Twitter and Medium and make it transparent.

저는 의료 (혹은 디지털 헬스케어) 도메인에서 계속 일하고 있는 프로그래머입니다. 중학생 때 스마트폰을 통해 프로그래밍을 접했고, 프로그래밍에 재미를 느껴 17살 때 안드로이드 프로그래머로 인턴 생활을 한 것을 시작으로 다양한 활동을 해왔습니다. 현재는 회사와 병행하며 여가 시간을 활용해 오픈 소스 프로젝트들을 계속 만들고 있습니다.

제가 주로 작업하는 제 프로젝트는 Black Angus[메인, 람다]와 lastfm-twitter-connector가 있습니다. Black Angus(인공흑우)는 아직 베타 상태지만 디스코드 봇으로 만들어졌으며 다양한 부가 기능을 지원합니다. lastfm-twitter-connector는 Last.fm으로 기록하는 음악을 활용해 현재 내가 듣는 노래를 공유할 수 있습니다. 꼭 트위터만을 지원하지는 않아서 앞으로는 다양한 커넥터 플러그인을 지원하는 쪽으로 발전하려고 합니다.

저는 재발하는 치료 저항성 우울증(Treatment-Resistance Depression)과 만성 편두통(Chronic Migraine)을 진단받아, 꾸준히 치료를 받고 있습니다. 신약에 좋은 반응을 보여 현재는 매우 좋은 상태를 유지하고 있지만, 신약은 최소 월에 200만원 이상 소요되는 금전적으로 어려운 환경에 있습니다.

GitHub Sponsers를 통한 수입은 이런 면에서 제가 정상적으로 오픈 소스 프로젝트를 계속 만들고, 사회적 활동을 유지할 수 있는데 큰 도움이 됩니다. 저는 수입을 다음과 같은 우선 순위로 사용할 것이며, 그 내역을 트위터와 미디엄을 통해 매달 투명하게 공개할 것을 약속합니다. 또한 수입이 생길 경우 더 많은 시간을 오픈 소스 프로젝트에 참여하기 위해 할당할 수 있습니다.

1. 저의 지속적인 컨디션 유지 및 더 많은 사회 활동을 할 수 있게 해주는 의료 비용을 보조할 수 있습니다.
   • 기본적으로는 의료 비용은 제 급여로 해결합니다.
   • 취직 전에는 기존 장비(컴퓨터, 스마트폰, 등)를 판매했고, 정부 기관을 포함한 각종 기관의 지원을 통해 해결해왔습니다.
   • 취직을 했기 때문에 더 이상의 지원은 받기 어렵습니다.
2. 더 많은 시간을 오픈 소스 프로젝트의 기여나, 제가 공개한 프로젝트의 개선에 사용할 것입니다.
   • 회사를 다니고 있기 때문에 주말과 여가 시간을 많이 활용할 계획입니다.
3. 제가 중요하게 생각하는 다른 오픈 소스 프로젝트들의 기부
   • 금전적으로 여유가 생기면 제가 많이 사용하는 프로젝트들, 제가 중요하게 바라보고 있는 프로젝트들에 더 많이 기부할 수 있게 됩니다.
   • 제가 기부를 받은 내역도, 기부를 한 내역도 매달 트위터와 미디엄을 통해 투명하게 공개할 수 있도록 하겠습니다.
