I work on tools to make people of all technical skill levels able to benefit from technology.

For developers, I produce template projects that make it easier to get up and running with a new idea.

For end users, I develop tools that empower users to take control of their digital lives. From privacy to productivity, I believe that open source software can improve the lives of millions of people, and I'm excited to help make that happen.

I mostly work in Python/Django for backend web development, VueJS on the frontend, and Kubernetes clusters for devops/CI/hosting.

This buys me a few cups of coffee every month. I pledge to turn those cups of coffee into useful code.

This amounts to one large platter of cheesy orzo from the Greek deli downstairs every month. Cheesy Orzo, and the rejuvenating nap that follows, is a restorative miracle that enables me to write better code afterwards.

I rent a lot of servers every month to try out new things. $25/mo gives me some spending money to play around with servers/clusters, and experiment with new features.

This is a substantial contribution to my work that will be acknowledged in two ways:

  • I'll (optionally) list your name or company in the "Thank You" section of a project of your choice
  • I'll be super happy. The warm and fuzzy feelings will imbue me with a great sense of purpose, and I'll fix bugs/implement features with speed and gusto.

If you or your company makes money off of my projects, a sponsorship at this level shows a serious commitment to the ecosystem. $250/month really helps keep my projects moving forward, and allows me to spend a greater chunk of my time thinking about bug fixes and feature enhancements. Sponsors at this level are thanked publicly, privately, and in my head several times a day.

For $500, you're less of a sponsor and more of a partner. You're helping make my work a reality, and contributing materially to what I do. In return, I'll note your contributions to the project, and try to offer a quick turnaround on communication. You know, because that's what partners do.

At this level of sponsorship, you're welcome to email me for specific questions about your project or product, and I'll do my best to help. If you get in touch, I'll schedule an hour of remote consultation time every quarter, with the opportunity to arrange for more consulting or development time.

This is a high level of sponsorship for organizations that are benefiting greatly from any of my projects. This level of sponsorship comes with a full day of consulting every quarter (either remote, or on-site if travel expenses are covered).
