My name is Harish, and I'm the person behind TracingInsights.

What began as sharing analysis charts evolved into something far more ambitious.
TracingInsights.com is the only telemetry website with data you literally cannot find anywhere else: DriverAhead, DistanceToDriverAhead, Longitudinal Acceleration, Lateral Acceleration, and Vertical Acceleration telemetry charts.

I've also built tif1, a ridiculously fast Python package for analyzing lap times, results, and telemetry. Built on top of FastF1 generated data at /2026 with a compatible API, tif1 fetches only the required telemetry file (<200 KB) instead of downloading an entire session (~50–100 MB). (TypeScript version is in active development)

Core Philosophy: make Formula 1 data open, easy and accessible to everyone. Use this data to speed up and optimize the existing f1 tools to save everyone's time. All F1 data I use is and always will be fully public. The entire project is open source, community-driven, and built with transparency.

This year, I'm going “No risk, full push” mode (LiCo unavailable) - adding weather data, race control messages, driver radio, session results, race and driver ratings, more calculated stats, more telemetry analysis, more dashboards... basically everything you want to analyze.
