Become a sponsor to NEURALMIMICRY LTD
Help sponsor the development towards a 20W AGI using neuromorphic principles and software.
NeuralMimicry's vision is based on providing an infrastructure from which emergent behaviour is possible.
A single or even a handful of neurons are not intelligent. They simply react to the environment, chemical composition and stimulus received to encourage growth and connections in particular directions.
Intelligence arises from the culmination of activity between neurons, their immediate environment and how that environment changes dependent on external input. Inputs such as heat, light, touch, vibration, sound are sources of stimulation. By emulating responses to environment and stimuli we create the framework from which emergent behaviour can occur.
The principle of the vision has been supported by academics related to this area of neuromorphic computing. The concept was also a contender in the 2017 IBM AI XPRIZE competition.
Sponsorship will directly enable the funding of additional focused developers to bring this concept to fruition. The aim is to rebuild the original concept framework of the BrainHarmonics repository and then optimise the code to run on discrete microcontrollers as proof that the principle is sound on low powered devices and to then generate VHDL that optimises the functions further towards dedicated hardware.
