My name is Emily (she/her) and I'm a mathematician and type designer based on Brazil.

I'm currently working on designing Darwin] (GitHub repository, Project Website), a free and open-source typeface for academic, scientific, and book writing. The typeface is meant to be as complete as possible, featuring several optical sizes, covering glyphs across a huge array of languages using the Latin, Cyrillic, and Greek scripts, having a math font of matching style, and support for linguistics and medieval studies.

As someone outside academia/without an economically stable position, sponsorships and donations would greatly help ensure I'm able to keep working on Darwin, even in face of future economical adversity.
