Hi, I am Uday Surya P. I am from Haripad, a rural area in the district of Alappuzha, Kerala, India. I am currently enrolled in the first year of my BTech in Computer Science and Engineering at College of Engineering and Management, Punnapra.

I am currently working on web development. I am also learning frontend development from Frontend Masters, which I received through GitHub Education. This has been a great help to me. I have recently started creating an ecommerce website. I am still in the design phase, but I am exploring ways to improve the design. After that, I will start coding the project.

I recently participated in a hackathon conducted by Hashnode and Appwrite. I created a WhatsApp clone using Vue, Vite, and TypeScript. The hackathon was overwhelming, but it was also a lot of fun. I am preparing for the upcoming Google Summer of Code and to apply for the GitHub Global Campus Expert role. I also want to land an internship so that I can stay ahead of the curve in this fast-paced world. I want to explore more pathways and opportunities to improve my skills and knowledge.

I read about GitHub Sponsors and thought about applying for sponsorship. If I am sponsored, I will use the money mainly for my education. I plan to start learning data science, as it is a booming field in the industry. I have found a course on Coursera called "Supervised Machine Learning: Regression and Classification" by Andrew Ng. The reviews for this course are great, so I would use the sponsorship money to take this course. I would also use the money to pay for the API services for my upcoming ecommerce project. I also need to buy a domain so that the public can access my project and find it helpful.
