Dave Syer opened AMQP-61 and commented

Support external transactions through a synchronization that commits the channel. 1.0.0.M1 has this implemented for sends already, but not for receives, which would involve storing the delivery tags for basicGet() and either acking them (commit) or calling basicRecover (rollback) depending on the outcome.
