Oliver Drotbohm opened SPR-5728 and commented

As already discussed with Keith, I came up with the idea to provide a Spring namespace to ease setting up an instance of EmbeddedDatabaseFactoryBean. I've attached a very basic first draft of it.

Initial support committed.

Next steps:

  • Add support for H2 alongside HSQL
  • Add support for connection pools (dbcp, c3p0, others?)
