Apparently Oracle changed the Toplink API with respect to logging.
In Oracle/Toplink 10G the class oracle.toplink.sessions.SessionLogEntry has a method public oracle.toplink.publicinterface.Session getSession()
in Toplink 11G this method interface changed to
AbstractSession getSession();
When you try to use CommonsLoggingSessionLog in M4 with 11G you will receive a runtime error complaining that the method oracle.toplink.publicinterface.Session getSession does not exist.
I recompiled M4 with the new toplink library and then things worked.
Affects: 2.1 M4

Thanks for the report! I've revised CommonsLoggingSessionLog to work with TopLink 11 as well (remaining compatible with TopLink 10.1.3) through the use of reflection.
