GWA (Migrated from SES-70) said:

If you give a metadata generated by this module to an IDP that validate the metadata signature, the metadata will be rejected

this is because the signature is calculated with a non-formated metadata and metadata filter return a pretty printed xml.

The provided patch remove the pretty print, thus Idp can validate metadata.

(you can always read formated xml through your browser)
