Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Every single time I open Spyder 5.0.1, the LSP Python crashes. It works when I tell it to restart manually, though.

Hey @DrAndrewHayes-NRLSSC, thanks for reporting. The part that you reported in your traceback is a duplicate of issue #15356.

As for the LSP, please close Spyder, open a terminal (cmd.exe), run the following command:

spyder --debug-info verbose --debug-output file

and upload here the file called spyder-debug.log, which is created in the same directory where you ran the command above.
