TypeError when trying to update environments in status bar widget #20539

Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

maybe due to the os.chra.dir, then this happens quite frequently.

Hey @ChengYangUmich, thanks for reporting. It seems there's a problem detecting the environments in your Anaconda installation.

We'll fix this problem in our next version (5.4.3), to be released next month. In the meantime, the only solution I can offer you is to remove and reinstall Anaconda because it seems it's broken.
