I've a custom metric that displays a user-selected statistic from a set of statistics.

When the user changes the statistic to display, can I ask cubism to call my metric for the whole time range?

AFAICS, I have to destroy the existing metric and create a new one?

Thanks.

I think that's how you have to do it AFAICT.

Closing this because there's nothing we can do about it, but @philipa please clarify if you found creating a new metric too slow or buggy. Please use Stack Overflow for similar discussions.

Thanks both - I decoupled my state from the metric, so creating a new one is now cheap for me.
