@PeterJCLaw what does system load look like currently?

Does DO supports scaling up an instance on-demand? If so we can probably leave scaling up until the Saturday morning to ensure we're not over-spending. Although in my experience, VMs can scale up, but not down

I'm not sure if Digital Ocean support on-demand scaling, though you can click a button and make the machine bigger. My plan had been to do so during the week of the competition and just go bigger than you might imagine we'd need.

The load at the moment is fine, though of course, that's not particularly representative given that the teams will all be meeting at different times during the week.

patience is now much beefier. I'm not sure I went far enough, but I suspect it's fine.
