Expected Behavior

The latest minor or point release of source-map can be used

Current Behavior

A specific version is installed

Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)

Install stacktrace-gps

Context

This often results in multiple versions of source-map being installed since many packages require a version later than the currently pinned version

Your Environment

  • Package version: 3.1.2
  • Browser name and version: Safari 16.1
  • OS version (desktop or mobile): macOS 13.0
  • Link to your project: N/A

Possible Solution

Use ^ or ~ for the version specifier
