Latest Google Images update doesn't work with Google TBG #5
Comments
Thank you for the bug report. I'll take a look as soon as I get a chance. |
I have tried to reproduce this issue for a while now and can't get it to consistently fail as described. If you can provide further information (browser version, specific search queries, etc) I'll be happy to investigate further. |
Firefox 54.0.1, 64 bit. Any search query. Tampermonkey 4.10.6112. Continues to be a pain! |
Just tried in Chromium 79.0.3945.88, 64 bit. Tampermonkey 4.10. It doesn't work there either. Any search query. Not sure what other info I could provide. |
That's very odd, because all of the links open correctly for me in Firefox 75.0 64-bit Tampermonkey 4.10.6112. I'm sorry, but if I can't reproduce the problem, I can't fix it. There must be something interacting oddly with one of our setups.

Quick update on this issue... I finally experienced this problem myself and was able to reproduce it ONCE. If you are having this issue, please do a search where the links are broken, then copy and paste the google URL from your browser URL bar and post it here as a comment. |
Google Images was updated in the last few days. Clicking an image now opens the result on the right side of the page, rather than using an overlay.
If Google Tracking-Be-Gone is enabled, clicking a Google Images search result doesn't do anything. If the script is disabled, then Google Images works.
Looks like Google Tracking-Be-Gone is going to need an update in order to function properly with Google Images. Until then, users will have to disable Google Tracking-Be-Gone when using Google Images.
