Digital ocean does not work (#18), OVH does not work (#19 )

Perhaps we can maximise the value of scarece developer labour by simply listing some known-good configurations that DO work on known clouds. AWS? Azure? Has anyone had any luck?

I have tested in the past with Vultr and AWS Lightsail. I'm pretty sure it works on DigitalOcean too, just not necessarily through Docker.

Agree it should be documented

OK, I will fork and add docs to the effect that some success has been had in the past with Vultr and AWS lightsail. Note that digital ocean gives funky errors (see also #21) at least if I follow the instructions in install-manual.md, so afaict is dubious for this list
