Map Stamen Watercolor 503

When I zoom in to the max level some tiles are missing and server responds with errors. Why is this happening? It just happened in this zoom level, not in the rest.

These are some of the errors from the console regarding that issue. Also I attach a screenshot

I discovered the same Issue, but it happens only in Safari (on Mac) not in SeaMonkey or Chrome. I work with some videoOverlay - it seems to happen specially there -see www.dominique.turzer.eu

I'm seeing the same issue on Windows 10 in Chrome.

Any updates on this? It still happens to me (Firefox, Mac OS 10.14), e.g. https://stamen-tiles-a.a.ssl.fastly.net/toner-lite/20/553296/338784@2x.png.

Hm, yeah, now they work. Could you think of any other reason why they might not work at times and I’m bombarded with 503s? Switched the tileset for now so it’s nothing urgent, but I’m curious if I am missing something or could optimize the tile calls on the client somehow.

I have the same issue with many tiles in the Philippines on a certain zoom level. Any ideas how to resolve this?

I have the same issue: some tiles do load on a zoom level:

If I visit the non-loading tiles in a browser I get:
