when calculating the PSIS weights (those used for the submodels) in the `validate_search = FALSE` case of `cv_varsel()`. This bug was introduced in v2.2.0 (and existed up to---including---v2.2.1).
<stan-dev#186 (comment)>: The `family$predvar` functions (or rather the calls to them) need to take offsets into account.
