Command benchcore boots a set of EC2 instances, compiles
cored, corectl, and the Java SDK locally, sets up a postgres
database and chain core on the instances, copies the SDK and
X.java to another instance to serve as the test driver,
and runs the driver.
It expects a full Chain development environment. See
Readme.md in the root of this repo for instructions.
X.java can have any file name. It is expected to have
a public class of the same name containing the entry point.
If flag -p is given, benchcore will save the cored binary
to a file, along with heap and cpu profiles (captured once
every three minutes) to files cored, heapTTT, and cpuTTT,
where TTT is a unix timestamp.
On successful exit of the test driver, benchcore will delete
the AWS resources it created. If there is a failure, it will
leave the instances running for debugging investigation. To
clean up, run 'benchcore -d'.
