Feature Request

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

It is not currently possible to use Starship with yash, oksh, mksh... there is no option for any of these, thus, the claim that Starship works with "any shell" is false.

Describe the solution you'd like

The implementation of an option to initialize Starship for POSIX compliant shells. Only drawback is that this would take time to implement, and results may still vary from shell to shell due to issues with feasibly complying with POSIX completely.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Go find another command prompt that does support POSIX compliant shells... couldn't find one that actually worked with (yash). Go use a currently supported shell instead (hardly a solution).

We currently have a few open issues to add different ksh variants (#1276 and #3645) linking them here to try to tie everything together.

Also #928 has a MVP solution for getting starship working in dash so might be a potential starting point is someone wants to try and work on this.

Yeah i agree with this tbh, having a generic "init posix" wouldnt be a bad idea, it would increase starship's portability massively
